    International participants travelling to Paris, France, to attend the conference should check the French entry requirements applicable to their nationality and travel circumstances. France is part of the Schengen Area. Depending on their citizenship, participants may require a Schengen Short-Stay Visa or may be eligible to enter visa-free. Some travellers may also need to meet additional entry requirements.

    Visa Requirements:

    Participants applying for a visa may be required to provide:

      • A valid passport or travel document
      • Conference registration or confirmation letter
      • Conference invitation or participation letter, where applicable
      • Proof of employment, education, or professional affiliation
      • Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the stay
      • Travel itinerary or return flight reservation
      • Accommodation details or hotel booking
      • Travel medical insurance covering the Schengen Area
      • Evidence of ties to their home country, where applicable
      • Any additional documents requested by the relevant French consulate or visa application authority

    Prepare supporting documents: Gather your passport, conference registration documents, invitation letter, financial evidence, accommodation details, travel itinerary, and required insurance documents.

    Complete the application: Follow the official French visa application process and complete the applicable application form.

    Book an appointment: If required, schedule an appointment with the relevant consulate or authorized visa application centre to submit your documents and provide biometrics.

    Pay the applicable fees: Pay the visa fee and any relevant service charges. Additional requirements may apply depending on your circumstances.

    Allow sufficient processing time: Visa processing times vary by nationality, application location, and individual circumstances. Participants are strongly advised to apply well in advance of the conference.
