General Information

International participants planning to attend the Global Forum on Aerospace & Aeronautical Engineering, scheduled for November 09–10, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, may require a visa depending on their nationality. Participants are strongly advised to review the visa requirements applicable to their country well in advance of their intended travel dates.

1. Visa Requirements

  • Citizens of many countries may enter Malaysia visa-free for short stays, typically ranging from 14 to 90 days, depending on nationality.
  • Participants from countries that require a visa must apply in advance through the nearest Malaysian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.
  • Certain nationalities may be eligible for the Malaysia eVisa or Visa on Arrival, subject to current immigration regulations.

2. Documents Usually Required

Applicants for a Malaysian visa may be required to submit the following documents:

  • A valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of entry
  • A completed visa application form
  • Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Proof of conference registration (an official invitation letter will be issued upon request)
  • Travel itinerary and accommodation details

Additional documentation may be requested depending on the applicant’s nationality and visa category.

3. Visa Assistance

Upon request and following successful registration, the Organizing Committee will provide an official invitation letter to support participants in their visa application process.

Please note:

  • The invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval.
  • It is intended solely as supporting documentation for the visa application.
  • Participants are responsible for submitting their visa applications in a timely manner.

All attendees are encouraged to review the latest Malaysian immigration guidelines and begin the visa process early to avoid any potential delays.
