"Kristy Karthini John Abdullah, RN, is an Oncology Nurse with over 18 years of clinical specialization. Currently a PhD candidate in Nursing at UNIMAS, she integrates evidence-based research with patient-centered care. Based at Sarawak General Hospital, she coordinates high-volume cancer patient care at the RTU Clinic and provides comprehensive patient education.
Beyond her clinical role, she serves as a Trainer-of-Trainers (TOT) for Sarawak state and supervises undergraduate nursing research at Open University Malaysia. She is also an active volunteer with the Pink Ribbon Support Group Sarawak and SCAN, providing psychosocial support and community education.
An accomplished international speaker, she has presented at prestigious forums, including international nursing and oncology conferences. Her memberships in the Malaysian Nurses Association (MNA) and the Malaysian Mental Health Nurses Association (MHN) reflect a holistic approach to oncology nursing—one that bridges clinical excellence with compassionate advocacy and education.
