Visa Information

General Information

International participants planning to attend the Global Forum on Deep Tech AI & Emerging Computing Fields, taking place from November 09–10, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, may be required to obtain a visa depending on their nationality. We strongly recommend checking your country’s visa requirements well in advance of your planned travel dates.

1. Visa Requirements

  • Citizens of many countries may enter Malaysia without a visa for short stays (generally ranging from 14 to 90 days, depending on the country).
  • Participants from nations that require a visa should apply in advance through the nearest Malaysian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.
  • Some nationalities may be eligible for the Malaysia eVisa or Visa on Arrival, depending on the latest regulations.

2. Documents Usually Required

When applying for a Malaysian visa, you may be asked to provide:

  • valid passport (with at least six months of validity from the date of entry).
  • completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Proof of conference registration (an official invitation letter will be provided upon request).
  • Travel itinerary and proof of accommodation.
  • Additional documents may be required depending on your nationality and visa type.

3. Visa Assistance

Upon request and after registration confirmation, the organizing committee will provide an official invitation letter to support your visa application.

Please note:

  • The invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval.
  • It serves only as supporting documentation for the visa application process.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring timely submission of their applications.

We encourage all attendees to check the latest immigration regulations and begin their visa process early to avoid delays.
