Attendees planning to travel to Zurich, Switzerland for the conference are advised to review visa requirements well in advance of their journey. Do You Need a Visa?

Participants who require a visa for a short conference visit to Switzerland generally need a Schengen Visa (Type C). A short stay may cover tourism, visiting, or attending professional events and is generally limited to 90 days within any 180-day period. Visa requirements vary according to nationality. For example, Indian passport holders require a visa for short stays in Switzerland.

Processing Time

Processing times vary depending on the country, application volume, and completeness of documentation. For applications submitted in India, the Swiss Embassy currently indicates approximately 10–15 working days under normal circumstances after submission, but applicants are advised to begin the process as early as possible. Applications can generally be submitted up to 6 months before the intended entry date.
