Spain (Barcelona) Visa Basics
1. Visa Requirement
Spain is part of the Schengen Area. Travelers from visa-required
countries must obtain a Schengen Visa (Type C) before travel. A visa
does not guarantee entry, as the final decision is made by Spanish border
authorities.
2. Passport Validity
Your passport must be issued within the last 10 years and remain valid
for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area.
3. Length of Stay
A Schengen Visa allows stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period
for tourism, business, or conferences.
Visa Exemptions
Citizens of many countries, including EU/EEA nations, the
UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea,
