Visa Information
Participants traveling to Toronto, Canada, are advised to check the visa requirements applicable to their nationality well in advance of the conference dates.
Most international attendees may require a Canadian Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa – TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to enter Canada. Requirements vary depending on your country of citizenship and travel document. Conference participants should apply as early as possible, as visa processing times may vary by country. Canada's visitor visa fee starts at CAD 100, and some applicants may also be required to provide biometric information.
Registered participants requiring a visa support letter can request an official invitation letter from the conference organizers after completing their registration. This letter may be submitted as part of the visa application process but does not guarantee visa approval.
Applicants may be required to provide:
- A valid passport
- Conference registration confirmation
- Invitation letter from the conference organizers
- Proof of accommodation and travel itinerary
- Evidence of sufficient financial resources
- Employment or institutional affiliation documents, where applicable
Attendees are strongly encouraged to consult the official Government of Canada immigration website for the most current visa requirements, processing times, and application procedures. Applications should be submitted well in advance of travel to avoid delays.
